Professional Athlete

Since early childhood I have had an active interest in outdoor pursuits and have been heavily involved in leadership roles within Surf Life Saving NZ, excelling in sports and fitness competitions and other endurance sports, as well as being recognised with various sporting achievements throughout my schooling and professional career.

I have been in full time teaching roles after Graduating with a Bachelor of Physical Education. My most recent role was teaching at Whangamata Area School teaching Physical education and Head of Outdoor education.

In 2021, I made the move to reside in New Zealand over the summer months and live and train in Australia taking leave without pay from Whangamata Area School, to further my training and compete in both local and international triathlon competitions.

After the 2022 Kona Ironman World Championship, I made the transition from Age group racing to professional racing. Therefore, resigning from my position at Whangamata Area School.

I continue to be involved in youth development within the Surf Life Saving environment as well as providing customised triathlon coaching to other athletes through the platform MK Performance.
